The blackberry, in its natural habitat, is a prickly bramble that grows in wild, uncultivated areas along the hedges and trenches in the undergrowth across the Mediterranean belt. It is a drupaceous fruit that turns from red to a dark purplish blue and contains an intensely coloured sourish juice.

Rich in vitamin C, the fruit is picked from the hills around Fiumalbo. The fruit chef then prepares the blackberry jam by using an artisan process that preserves the delicacy of this fruit. It is therefore brought to your table with all the freshness of blackberries that have just been picked.
